Homemaking Party and a Shabby Chic Giveaway

Welcome to the Homemaking Party!  This week, I'm joining a group of other great bloggers for the Summer Fun Giveaway Hop!  Are you interested in receiving a great Shabby Chic package from me?  Head over to my Giveaway Post and enter to win!

I love to feature some of the neat posts that are linked up---Please make sure and put my button or a text link on each blog post you link up. The reason that I (and many other party hosts) ask for a link in each post that you link up is because it acts as sort of a trade off.  I host your specific link every week on my post and, in turn, you host my specific link every week on your post.  If you only share my party on your one "linky party page", then you are only hosting my link one time forever---and it's only visible if someone clicks onto that page.  I try to only choose to feature those who have actually put my link within the featured post, but I have a hard time keeping my own rules and checking to make sure the link is included.  So, I'm not making this a mandatory thing to be featured---just asking that you'd consider it!

Here are a few of my favorites from last week's party:

Sherry at The Charm of Home shared a recipe for delicious Georgia Peach and Pecan Crisp.  Doesn't this look wonderful?  I'll definitely be making it for my family this week!

I love this sweet apron that the author of Popcorn and Pearls made recently.  She tells about just getting back into sewing after a long hiatus.  I love the fabric she chose!

Everyone can use some tips on saving money at the grocery store.  Leslie from Lamberts Lately shared 20 great ideas to help trim our budgets down.

Thanks to everyone for the great posts!

If you have been featured, please grab a button!

Hope In Every Season

Now for the linkup.  Please remember to return the favor by adding my button or a text link to your post.  Have a great weekend!

  4. Thanks for hosting. I have a question. I've had my blog hop buttons on my side bar until this week when I created a separate page with an obvious link to that page on my sidebar. Is this in keeping with your rules? And do my 1-minute devotions fit your theme? Just let me know...I don't want to be a party-crasher. Thanks.
