The Homemaking Party: Reading Challenges Update

Over the next two months, I'm participating in two reading challenges and am keeping a running list of what I've read here. Here's the info on the challenges I've joined---in case you're wanting to join too!

Since August 1st, I've finished these books:
French Lessons by Peter Mayle
Persuasion, Captain Wentworth, and Cracklin' Cornbread by Mary Jane Hathaway

Tonight I'll finish Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart.

Here are my plans for Simply Audra Marie's Friday "It Begins with SUMMER" challenge:

S---SPAM: A Biography (will read in September)
U---Undone (will read in September)
M---Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart (reading now)
M---Motel of the Mysteries (will read in September)
E---Emma, Mr. Knightley, and Chili Slaw Dogs (will read in August)
R---Recipes for Easy Living (will read in September)

What are you reading?

Thanks for stopping by the Homemaking Party! Have a blessed night!

  4. Good evening, Sarah. Thanks for hosting the blog party.
I have a stack of books I am reading right now - several on raising laying hens, one on goats, and a few more about being a beekeeper! I am getting a little over-dosed on reality books, however, so it might be a good time to pick up something different. Maybe a mystery or a romance novel! :)
Have a great Thursday and a wonderful weekend.

  7. Oh - you must know I have about 8 books on my reading table next to my reading chair - and that's just in the quiet time corner. Not to mention the living room end table and the bedroom night table. Please - help me!! I may need an intervention. Happy to be joining the party on a regular basis now . . .
    Joy!

  9. Sarah, another great party! I wish I had more time to read. I used to read constantly and have found that time lost recently. I love your list. Added a few to my wish list!! :)
