Our family has made a good effort this year to move toward a more natural lifestyle. From nixing the processed foods to finding ways to reuse and recycle, we're changing our stamp on the environment as well as cleaning up our act for more strength, energy, and an overall fulfilled life. It's so important to build healthy habits. Oral care and hygiene have always been really important to me---especially when it comes to my kids. With a family the size of ours, it can be difficult to establish good routines for the kids, but it's so important to do so when it comes to caring for our teeth and gums. Using natural products helps me feel like I'm offering them something safe and effective.

ReplyDeleteWe use Toms flouride free line and have been happy with it. I don't know how you feel about Stevia, but be aware that some of their toothpastes now contain it. I personally avoid it for me and my family and we didn't realize it was in it until my husband tasted something different and then looked at the ingredients. Not all the flavors contain it though.
ReplyDeleteI like their stuff. I also like their floss. It has no taste or wax on it.... makes me super happy. My family also just started recycling and it made a big difference in our daily trash take out... makes me happy because we're not buying trash bags every week now... I am also trying to use what i have in my pantry instead of going to the store when it comes to meal time. coming up with weekly meals in hard for me but I am sure if I work on it it will come second nature...
