A Week of Pinks!

It's another lovely Pink Saturday! Please visit Beverly's blog, How Sweet the Sound, for more Pink Blogging!

Last week, I made a comment about not being able to find a whole lotta pink in my world---it being a newly acquired taste and all. So, this past week, I challenged myself to see just how much pink I could find. Surprisingly, there was quite a bit! My kids even got in on the action and staged a couple of pink-themed photos. They're now fully aware of the existence and importance of Pink Saturday so I'm sure they'll be on the lookout for me as well!

It started at church Sunday morning. The kids were invited to come early as a sweet lady offered to make breakfast for them. I wish I would have gotten some close-ups but hopefully you can see the big plate of pink frosted Pop-Tarts and pink frosted donuts!

Here we have the Pied Cainan serenading Queen Avalon on his magic flute...

I had some friends coming Sunday evening so I picked up some flowers...Pink, of course!

Here I've displayed some on my mantle near my collection of Heidi books...

And here are some on a shelf where I keep some special things like my wedding picture, a vintage book, a vase I bought last week at an antique store, and a pillow my mom gave me...

When my very special company arrived, she gave me this Close To My Heart scrapbooking idea book. Do you love CTMH and need someone to purchase from? Let me know in the comment box below and I'll be glad to put her in touch with you!

I picked up a couple of flowers this week to plant in my yard. They were on clearance since our summer season is wrapping up here in the great PNW! Do you know what these are? I do and they remind me of home. They grow yellow and purple in the mountains above Baker City, Oregon.

How about these? This was a flower I'd not heard of before but I picked it up since it's supposed to bush out and grow really big!!

I found this sweet surprise one night when I went in to tell my girls goodnight... My little pink girl was too tired to wait for me!

Elisha and Avalon wanted to make sure I had enough pink in my post today!

So Selah and Strawberry Shortcake got in on the fun too!

Really, the more pink I see, the more I love it! I wonder what this week will bring??

Happy Pink Saturday!
