Even though it's still pretty chilly here in Northwest Washington, I really got an urge to start my springtime decorating this week! I went out to the shed and brought in my box of spring/Easter things. After the massive 2-day job of packing away 8 or so boxes of Christmas decorations, my son, Elisha, was surprised that there was only one box of spring things!
I figured I must have just packed them all really well---surely I had a good supply? Well, after opening up the boxes and removing the Easter baskets and leftover wrapping materials, I realized that my springtime decoration collection was pathetic!
I had just enough to do a couple things with my mantle and a couple things on the back of the piano! So...I figured I'd better get crafty! I've got lots of craft supplies around the house so I should be able to whip up a few things to brighten it up around here!
I found the tutorial for these adorable candy jars at Abbi's blog, My Garden of Eden
I was so impressed with these...and my family loves them too!
Do you have any great spring crafty ideas or links for me? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

You are so creative! They turned out great. I have pulled out a few things but I don't do nearly as much as I do at Christmas either. Guess I better get busy.
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful candy jars. They remind me of an old-fashioned candy store! I think Gabriela is right-that candy wouldn't last too long at my place! Have a wonderful weekend! Terri
