This morning, as I was looking around the house for Pink Saturday inspiration, I noticed how many of my most special things are primarily pink and green. I think my love for this color combination first started about 2 1/2 years ago when I started receiving pink and green gifts for our new baby, Avalon Grace. For some reason, we just kept getting things in these colors...clothes, her baby book, shoes, even wrapping paper and party decorations randomly turned out to be pink and green! |

Unfortunately, she outgrew her little baby dress, but is looking forward to matching her new baby sister (due in 27 days!) with this new one! |
Since then, I've received even more pink and green gifts. My husband bought me this gorgeous tea pot with two matching cups last year for my birthday! |
This sweet pink and green book belonged to my mom and now I've got it displayed with other special things in my living room. |
These little dollies are creatively named "Pink Baby" and "Green Baby"... I've had them as long as I can remember. |
As I'm preparing this month for the arrival of our newest little girl, I think I'll continue on with this pretty color combination! What color do you most like to pair with pink? |
Make sure to visit Beverly for more Pink Saturday!
Happy pink saturday Sarah, Best wishes on your new arrival to be! Hugs Marilou
ReplyDeleteWith all that's been going on in my world, I can't remember if I knew that the new baby is a girl. I can't wait to hear all about her when she gets here (and of course see pictures). I'm a little baby crazy and getting married has not helped with that! :)

What an absolute cutie your daughter is! I had to chuckle at the photo of her under the counter. Kids love those kind of places. Pretty soon she'll outgrow that area, though.

Just like you, my fave with pink is the soft green and then white. I love buying pink for my grand-daughters. Seems I never tire of it. I didn't know you were expecting a little one soon. Looking forward to seeing her sweet little face. :) HPS Sarah.
ReplyDeleteI like to put brown with pink, unless it's on my granddaughter. Then pink and green is my choice, too. I love the look on your daughter's face in the last picture! Glad you have sun by you, it has poured cats and dogs here by Portland all day today!
ReplyDeletePraying for safe delivery of your new little one.
