Highlights From the Homeschool Prom Night

Friday night was one of our teens' favorite nights of the year---the local homeschool prom! Lynzie and Michael had been planning their outfits for months and couldn't wait for the big night!

Michael wanted a white suit and I found this on eBay for less than $50. A tux rental store had gone out of business and was selling off their stock! He found the hat at Walmart and already had the blue tie to match his date's dress. Perfect!

Lynzie dreamed of a Cinderella dress just like the one in the new live action film. I drew this out on paper and prayed I could make it a reality.

The back has 20 eyelets and a ribbon lace up and the skirts are four layers: white sparkly tulle, blue sparkly tulle, blue satin, and metallic blue/lavender organza.

Lynzie added the butterflies to complete the look. So pretty!

Michael took his friend, Serenity. She looked gorgeous in her blue ombre gown!

A delicious dinner was served before time for the dancing to begin. While they ate, I went to dinner at a restaurant with a couple mom friends. It was a great, memorable night!

Thanks for stopping by the Homemaking Party. I'm excited to see what you've got to share!
