Fo...Thank you for the kind comments on my blog. :)

For years I dreaded the thought of hospitality, until I finally realized that there is a difference between "hospitality" and "entertaining".

I'm still not one for entertaining--putting on dinner parties, etc., but I CAN offer my hospitality, and that can be something as simple as inviting a neighbor in to sit down, instead of them standing out on the porch in the cold when they come to our door. It can be as simple as making a grandson a hot cup of cocoa while his ski pants dry in your dryer.

It can be a challenge sometimes though, for example, when one has a terrible headache and would just like to curl up somewhere, but the Lord sends someone who has a need to our door.

I guess we all just keep practicing though, right? :-)

~BeckyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-553871403635498898.post-3624544815055318782013-01-05T11:37:27.156-06:002013-01-05T11:37:27.156-06:00Good thoughts! :)Good thoughts! :)Audra Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15520409864345551851noreply@blogger.com
