I just made the most adorable wreath for our home!  Check it out at my guest post on Simply Helping Him to see why I chose this quote---and how I made it, super easy and super cheap!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies & the Homemaking Party

Hope everyone is having a happy week so far.  Baby Brenna is sporting a pretty pink flower for spring!  Can you believe she is almost four months old already!  Isn't she a little sweetie?!  She's sorta winking at you to say, "Hang in there---it's almost the weekend!"

This week I shared my Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Sprinkle at our Make Bake Create party.  Check it out if you've not already.

Our family loves these Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies!  Three great cookies--all in one!  What could be better?

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1 T. corn syrup
1/2 tsp.vanilla
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
4 1/2 c. oats
1 T. baking soda
12 oz. chocolate chips

Mix ingredients down through the eggs.  Stir in oats and baking soda.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.

I hope you'll join me for this week's Homemaking Linkup.  I love to feature some of the neat posts that are linked up so please make sure and put my button or a text link on your blog so you'll be eligible to be featured!

Here are some of my favorite posts from last week:

Leslie from Lamberts Lately shared the fun and prettiness of her little girl's first birthday.  I especially love this banner she made with each month of little Emma Ramey's first year featured on it's own piece.  How sweet!

Nancy at There is Grace gave us the recipe for her easy Chicken Tacos, which utilizes the crock pot! Yum!

Are you familiar with Cardboard Testimonies?  You have got to read this amazing story of God's miraculous healing in Crystal's family!  Crystal blogs at Serving Joyfully.

Thanks to everyone for the great posts!

Now for the linkup.  Please remember to return the favor by adding my button or a text link to your post.  Have a great weekend!

your hosts

This week, I'm the featured host and I'm sharing these delicious Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Sprinkle.  I was inspired by Kendra's Pumpkin Bars:

She suggested making muffins with the batter---so I did!  This recipe really appealed to me because it makes a lot, so it's perfect for our big family.  For topping, I just mixed up a little cinnamon and nutmeg with some decorator's sugar I needed to use up and---voila!  I was able to get 12 cupcakes and two loaves of bread from the recipe.  Breakfast and dessert taken care of at once---perfect!  I even have enough icing leftover for a batch of my Apple Rolls

Visit Kendra at Living In The Shoe for the full recipe.  Thanks for linking up, Kendra! There's a "featured" button at the bottom of my sidebar for you.

**Each week, I feature a few of my favorites from the week before in a roundup post.  Have you been featured?  Come see: MBC #1 Featured Posts.**
