The Homemaking Party: When Mom's Away...

A couple weekends ago, I spent a Saturday going to yard sales and writing at the library.  My husband and kids always have fun spending the day together, whether I'm here or not of course, but this particular day must have been extra fun!

 A few days after my day out, I loaded my camera pictures onto my laptop and found all of these...

 They're looking awfully zealous about this cookie-making experience!

 Yum!  I'm thinking I need to grab a bag of these tonight when I go shopping!

I'm going to trust that these spoons went straight into the sink after this little taste test...

It's hard to believe my sweet third-oldest son is old enough to use the stove already.  Cainan will be 9 on Sunday!

What sweet kids!  This is homemaking at it's best!
