To spruce up our home we painted the kitchen and living room walls a new color and planted some beautiful indoor and outdoor flowers. I love the smell and look of fresh flowers.
ReplyDeleteSadly not much, we still seem to be in winter hibernation mode. The most I've done is to cut some flowers from the garden and put them in a vase on the mantle.

I haven't really done anything to the inside to spruce up the house. We just bought and moved into this house recently, and it sits on 3 acres that was allowed to majorly overgrow before we bought it. We've been spending day after day trying to mow some of it down to make it look nicer.
ReplyDeleteI vacuumed the corners of the walls for dust webs

A good cleaning including windows.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the contest.
I gave it a good scrubbing and hung thermal curtains. That sure changed the room!! We bought the house 5 years ago, but never hung curtains, so adding them now brought the walls in and made the rooms look smaller. But hanging thermal curtains is worth it (I hope!) because I'll be able to save a small fortune in cooling costs this summer.

We put in a working bathroom in the old basement bathroom...I am a 2 bathroom woman! WOOT WOOT!
ReplyDeleteHonestly not much..lol
ReplyDeleteTo spruce up our home we gutted one of the bathrooms and replaced everything plus we are currently are removing the arbor vitae in front of the house. They were nice enough but big and hid the nice, light color of the house.
ReplyDeleteInside, I've changed the bedspreads to brighter colors, and added spring accents in the kitchen and living room. Outdoors, I've hung a floral door wreath.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance. :)
