Cream Scones with Lemon Curd for the Homemaking Party

Welcome to the Homemaking Party!

 Everyone's been craving scones but I've not wanted to take the time to make them!  Horrible, I know.  Recently, I found Julie's drop recipe on Babble so I thought I'd try it out.  Wonderful!  I've also been wanting to try lemon curd, which I've never had, so I tried Amy's recipe at Very Culinary.  The two together = Delicious!  Wow, I totally need to hide this from myself!
There has been some confusion about when the linkup starts.  I have it up each Wednesday night by midnight PST.  I leave it at the top of the blog all week long so it's accessible to those who are coming to link up. I love to feature some of the neat posts that are linked up so please make sure and put my button or a text link on your blog so you'll be eligible to be featured!

I just had to feature this excellent article from Judith at WholeHearted Home about God's Blog.  I'm not even going to tell you the details because I want you to GO READ IT!  Just take a minute and do it...you'll be so glad.  What a great perspective!
This post from Danielle at Snippets of Inspiration is exactly what I've done to grow my readership exponentially in the past four months.  Definitely worth your time to read...thanks, Danielle!
Tandis from Life As We Ski It wrote about the awesome protection power of a baby's fetal cells in, Baby Cells Stay With Mom For Life.  What a miraculous way we've been created---thank you, Lord!
Sarah at My Joy-Filled Life revealed her awesome new homeschooling space.  Wow!  What a blessing to have all that room and ability to organize.  Love it!

    Did someone say lemon curd? Yummy. I made my favorite cake a couple of weeks ago, lemon, and lemon curd is an optional filling. I didn't use it this time, but maybe I'll use your recipe next time I make my favorite cake.

    These remind me of the time my sister and I decided to make cookies and we made scones not knowing what they were. I wish we would have known about the lemon curd. Yum!! Thanks, Sarah!

    I love lemon curd! I remember my mum making it, years ago- I might have to have a go myself.
