Today the kids and I celebrated the end of our unit study on Ancient Egypt. They've been learning about the four major kingdoms and today we finished up the series by focusing on the Later New Kingdom; Ramses II, specifically.

Love your geography cake! We used to make salt dough maps with candy to make the rivers and mts. etc. :)

ReplyDeleteGreat cake! We are going to be homeschooling next year so I need these activities! BUT I do have a personal relationship with this type of cake. In 4th grade, a teacher used a cake to demonstrate pollution of our water - long story short...I gave up eating fish that day and never went back! I am a complete vegetarian now but that cake started it all! Thanks for sharing at FrugalFitfamily
